On my way to pick up a 2000 Range Rover HSE with 60,000 miles.

I found the dealership that sold/serviced the truck for its two prior owners. Apparently it had its head gasket replaced at 55K miles, but the head itself was fine (no milling needed, work was done at a dealership). Otherwise no problems and regular service.

Paying $7500, pretty good price I think.

This forum looks like a great group with a lot of knowledge - reminds me of the crew over at www.1addicts.com/forums. I have a long history of working on cars, though it usually is to maximize performance. The HSE will be my first true off-roader, and I do intend to use it as an off-roader. Look forward to learning all about these beasts.
