Default New to Rovers

Just bought my first Land Rover last night! Getting it shipped to NV from CA this weekend. Really stoked about it. 2001 DII SE7, sold my Jeep Wrangler and upgraded to a MUCH more refined off roader! I am sure I will be looking for tips and help quite often as I am sure it will be much more difficult to work on than a Jeep!

Actually I think they are pretty easy to work on. Really easy. Now, buying one mail order....... that is a little scary. Lol

Paid $100 for a mechanic to inspect it prior to buying it.

Smart man. It helps if they know these trucks too. Although a good mechanic won't miss much its nice to know all the trouble spots to check. I love mine, and it seems to be somewhat of an oddity in rover land. It's a daily driver and gets about 60 miles a day on it. Everything still works and it runs like a champ. You just have to stay on top of them. It's like the old days, wheb you check the fluids with every fill up and change the oil every 3k, and it will do fine.
