Welcome to the group --- and sometimes eccentric world of the Land Rover. Heed my advice, though --- and maintain your Disco as if it was the last vehicle allotted to you in this lifetime. Then-- everytime you drive it get used to the sounds it makes. In this way you will achieve a certain"pattern recognition" and will be more in tune to a change in that tune when it occurs (And it will). Too many owners only bring the vehicles into a shop or their own garage for a "peek" when the thing is drenching their driveway or rolling "fog" out the back --- because they didn't "listen and watch" while operating it. And by that time--- the repair costs can be staggering.

Great vehiclesif you kiss their *** and don't try to short change the operation of them by fitting crap replacement parts (say---made in the peoples republic of ........)and running cheap fluids through them.

regards,
Geoman
