Default New To RR :)

Hi guys my name is kean im from the philippines, im looking forward on a very active forum and threads with this forum, im a member of 2 different rr forums but i find it really slow, i hope this forum will help me more on my new 1997 p38, ill give you a brief backround of my ride, i bought the truck from a collector and it only has 7k miles on it, the truck is almost new inside and outside and the past owner never really used it cause of too many cars, i found the truck really nice looking and considered the mileage as a buying factor, as soon as i got it i brought it to a rr shop here and has done the ffolowing, change oil pressure switch, change oil pressure switch oring because of oil leaks, change valve cover gasket, change temperature sending unit, change coolant, oil, filter and pollen filter, change all water jackets because of leaks, and because of that repair i had to change both exhaust manifold, had the eas cleaned cause when i got it it took time to raise the truck, and last the rear tailgate shocks, it took me a week before i can drive her home again but i got it yesterday and now smiling, i know that this trucks are pretty notorious on coming back and fort to shops but i just love the looks of it, thanks you very much and hope to know all of you guys soon

Welcome aboard! If it really only had 7K miles on it that's amazing. Sitting for long periods of time (which it sounds like it did) will cause the problems you've had... maybe now you should be good on repairs for a bit.

Regards
