New to this site!
Hello everyone!!!
I am new to this site as well as having a Land Rover. I am definitely not new to the auto world. I am not a mechanic, but I have worked on and had quite a few cars. Current vehicles include a 1978 Triumph Spitfire...A 1969 Alfa Romeo...2008 Chevy Cobalt...1991 Bronco...and now a 1995 Land Rover Discovery!!! Which brings me here. (more about the Discovery later). Past projects have been a 1971 Porsche 911, (restored then wrecked), A 1971 Spitfire, A 1974 Spitfire, A 1986 Jaguar XJ6, and a 1978 Jeep CJ (ground up resto).
The Land Rover actually started off as my sons vehicle, after a crash course in driving a manual and two weeks of trying, he decided it is not for him. Now I have a Land Rover with a bad transmission!!!!!
ANYWAY.....just wanted to say Hi!!and let you know who I am.
Cheers
