I have used this site before for tech info but never got an account.
Owned a 2002 Disco 2 SD for almost 8 years before it met it's demise from a falling tree.
Upgraded to a 2008 LR3 SE with low mileage and extended warranty. The wife stole it to drive the kids around and with it's safety rating I couldn't protest.
So after getting tired of driving her Subaru Outback I traded it in for a 2006 LR3 HSE with HD. Although it has high mileage it was one owner and dealer serviced so seems like a good vehicle (knock on wood).

Most of my off-road experience has been with fire roads to reach climbing and camping sites.
