Hi All

Always wanted a LR and now in a position to justify owning one. On the look out for a LR4 in the Philadelphia area which is much harder than I thought it would be. Seen a bit of trash and missed out on two decent ones so far. The search and excitement continues and looking to learn more.

If you are rich and have cash finding what you want shouldn't be a problem.

The hunt is definitely fun. Good luck! Lots of good advice on here for purchasing one. I scoured craigslist and autotrader for weeks. Use your eyes and trust your gut.

So far not enjoying the hunt. Everything I've seen has been 80-100 miles away and when I've made the journey it's turned out to be disappointment. Also out of state which I guessing adds unnecessary complications (Brit in US purchasing for first time)...

Cheers. Constantly searching Autotrader, cars.com, TrueCar, CarGurus, Autolist, CarFax, Edmunds, iseecars. Had a dabble with ebay but not sure I'm happy buying without trying...

Managed to find a 2006 LR3 in great shape. Should be picking it up tomorrow. Grey HSE, 80XXX on the clock. I'm in and watching the money slowly drain from my account!

Pictures to follow but very happy. Have ordered a Gap Tool and a couple of key fobs as only came with one key that looks a little worse for wear!
