Hello,

I ordered a New Defender back in March but kept getting delayed....instead of idly waiting for something to do, went ahead and purchased a 2006 LR3 HSE with 140k miles.

It has meticulous records and all seems to be well, except for the engine bay is very hot after driving her home.

Got some time today, so will be looking out for a coolant leak, failed thermostat, and/or the radiator fan.

Welcome, I live in WA state too. Looks like we have a good amount of people from WA. I am waiting on my Defender, they are saying end of October.

 

Sweet! Got a call from JLR of Fife yesterday, they're expecting Oct 4th delivery for mine at the latest.

I might not do too much on the LR3 instead of opting to use the funds towards getting the Defender upgraded. Hope to see your rig around town soon!
