Hi all, I am from Olympia Washington, and I recently bought my 1999 Land Rover Discovery II. The truck had been in an accident where it rear ended a toyota pick up and ruined the from end. I spent the summer rebuilding it, replacing the core support, radiator, and generally straightening things out. It is now ready to drive, I am just waiting for a front winch bumper to come from bottorf fabrications to make it street legal (the original bumper was messed up in the crash). I bought the disco for 1,300 dollars, and here some pics of its current state:

Welcome fellow WA resident! I live in Renton, but work in Lacey. Nice rig, that thing will look real nice with that Bottorf bumper on there.

Just an FYI if you need a parts car, there is a '99 DII down at Empire Parts off Fir Rd in SE Olympia with quite a few usable parts left.

 

Thank you for the tip I should check it out since I would like a rear bumper cover and possibly a couple speakers for the ones going out on my disco. Fir st is really close to where I live, should be worthwhile
