I have been looking at G4s and Kalaharis for a while and I just bought number 5 Trek Edition 2003 Disco II from a independent. #5 comes out of South Florida Miami from LR of N Dade. 83k miles in need of some motor work and a semi restoration. The Shop in Atlanta Ga is handling my work and resto work to get it back to full glory. I am in desparate need of Trek Edition Decal Kit and minor dent removal. Paint is good and after a wet sand/polish will kook 85% or better. Many plastic pieces to replace, as well as metal protection in the rear all rusted and a 2-3 inch lift is in order and possibly bumpers. The truck runs well so far seeing that it was not maintained that great......I am trying to verify maint from LR in Miami if this is possible....Goal is to keep it as close to origianl sans the lift and bumpers but it is all there and in great shape for a hot salty climate. I collect and maintain several older BMWs and this is one for my collection and fun.
