Noobie from San Diego
dropping in to introduce myself. i bought a 2005 LR3 for my wife this past Christmas off the dealer floor. It was used but in pristine condition. Unfortunately, the research i did on here for the LR3 reliability and the negative reviews hold true for my purchase. It definately is mostly a love relationship, but the car has been at the dealer every other week since we bought it to have something fixed. Some minor things, other more of a major thing...
so far, still love the ride!
i am looking for some good off road terrain in the area if anyone has any suggestions!

Hi Noobie!
haha i spent some time in San Diego there's some nice spots to off road, not sure if it is still "legal" i lived there in 2003-2005 . just drive to chula vista area and on proctor valley road if you drive all the way down it turns into a dirt road and is nice because about 2-3 miles down the road it's a great escape for some great off-roading kinda a secret spot, i have seen some atv's and used to take my jeep rubicon up the trails, i only once was stopped by border patrol authorities and they just let us no not to go onto private property area's ... Telegraph canyon road turns into proctor valley road, other than that i would go to the dunes another good spot people off road at but it's sorta far drive from san diego. during my time there they were doing alot of housing and stuff so not sure. hope that helps.
