Default Nova_Eagle Project

Northern Virginia new guy and son here... Thanks for the site approval.
My 16 year old son and I are learning about our recent '04 D2 purchase. She's got a lot of miles but it's had pretty good care over the years. It's a Father/Son Project and upon completion of his Eagle Scout rank he'll take full possesion...
So far we are looking pretty good. Replaced the driver side CAT, as it was very noisey at engine start. I think we have a low idle miss but have not gotten a professional opinion yet. We have a slow window lift in the driver door and we need to get underneath it to look at our drive line and fluid leak origins... Creeper 101 should be a hoot for my guy.

Is there an age requirement for joining the Forum? You guys have a great place here. From what I've been reading we have been very lucky with our recent Rover investment...

Cheers mates,
Griff sends

Welcome. Is the project part of the Eagle scout ranking? Nice thing to end up with anyway!

Thanks for the welcome. The D2 is a reinforcement exercise...keeps his eye on the prize.

Cheers mate,

Welcome to the two of you I'm sure you'll find the forum helpful whilst working on your DII.

I don't believe there is an age requirement for the forum. As long as you have an interest in Rovering and troubleshooting your rig, anyone is welcome.

Post up some photos when you get a chance. We love seeing Discos
