Default Origin of Discovery

Hi everyone!

I am in the process of purchasing a 1995 Discovery V8i ES automatic from Japan. I will be using it in Zambia, whereI am currently working as a helicopter pilot. I would like to trace the history of this vehicle as far as possible. Does anyone know how I can find out where the vehicle was assembled and if it is possible to find out where it has been registered? The chassis number is SALLJR-MM3TA165617.

Regards
John

You should be able to contact Rovers customer service with the vin and if you can get transfered to the right dept. they should be able to pull up that info.

Thank you, however the only contact details I have are for Land Rover South Africa and they are pretty useless!! Do you have an e-mail address for Land Rover UKs Customer Service department?
