hello,

my name is Larry, I live in New Jersey and I just purchased a 95 Discovery today...

(hello Larry)

a low mileage beauty, with 150k on the clock.

She's all there, well, except for a shift boot and a trim clip. Runs like a dream and I got her for the measly sum of 1700 US clams...

She has a few scratches and scrapes, but nothing too bad, and I'd be really worried if the exterior were mint.

So, here's hoping she'll get me addicted.

now off to trawl through the classifieds on here...

I put a couple of pics of her up in the photo gallery section if anyone is interested!

well...

She made it home. 75 miles, all rush hour, from Centereach, Long Island to Little Falls, NJ...

only 4.5 hours to go 75 miles. No overheating, no idle problems, no weird noises... I think she may be good!!

now for a few minor maintenance items I want to perform, just for my own piece of mind...

i'll post new pics tomorrow.

She needs a driver seat though... anyone near NJ have a good Disco 1 driver seat they want rid of? preferably in beige?

alright... i'll try the local scrap yards...
