Hi i have a 2007 freelander 2 TD4 and the radio needed replacing so one was sourced from a breakers yard problem is it just turns on for a minute then turns off again with invalid vin system shut down on the screen, any way to fix this without paying a lot of money out? any help would be much appreciated

how to input vin number.

I'm also having the same issue! Did you guys get this sorted in the end. I have access to SDD/DA cable (as I believe the radio needs to be coded with the new vehicle's VIN) however no idea where to start looking. Any help gratefully received.
