Have a fair bit of 4x4 experience with Ford pickups but tired of width/length limitations. Also tired of electronic nanny nonsense so I am considering a late 80's-early 90's Defender 110 with 200 or 300 Tdi. I am open to a petrol model too.

Would also like to find a local trustworthy shop. I am reasonably proficient but increasingly lazy.
