I know this is not for technical questions but I really need to ask where the map sensor is located on a 2003 d2. My truck has been parked for two weeks and still can't find the problem.

Isn't that the MAF sensor?

 

MAF = mass air flow sensor. Google is your friend....

 

No MAP sensor. That is usually used on engines without a MAF.

P0734 is actually a transmission gear ratio code, but it indicates a MAF issue. You could try cleaning it, with the understanding that it might not help, and you'll have to replace it.

Honestly MAF doesn't go bad quite as often as people replace them on D2, but this code usually points that way. If it were fuel trim codes, it's probably something other than MAF.
