Get in touch with the SCLR, Souther California Land Rovers club, there are more Rover owners there who also love to wheel.

Is your truck modified, if so consider going on the up coming Calico Trip, if not see if you can ride with someone.

i just picked up a 2001 discovery LE w/ 68k miles. it needed a new serpentine belt so i took your 60k list to my mechanic and hes giving it a whole 60k service right now.
i want to modify it for off-road use and take on the mojave rd this spring/summer. what do you suggest i should do first and in what order of importance?

i was going to get a safari rack, brush guards etc put on and new michelins. what else do i need?
