Hi, my name is Steven. I currently drive a 93 Chevy Corvette, that I want to trade for a Land Rover (Range Rover or Disco). My last car before that was a 98 Pontiac Trans Am, then before that 97 Acura TL 3.2L. I love cars, but really need something practical. I enjoy photograghy, but don't do it enough. I work on computers, mostly. Pays pretty good, at least for my age (19). Ummm, I am buying my self a nice AKC Doberman, he comes home the 17th. Can't wait!

Well, if you want to buy something practical... a Land Rover may not be the best choice, unless you like to wrench, or want to learn. :-)

Just remember: if it's not leaking, it's *out* of something.

Well, I don't drive much. 500-700 miles a month, is usually a good month... Mostly 300 miles a month, lol. Plus, I have a hard time leaving something stock. The Vette, I am not modding, so that will be the first vehicle I have not touched. So I guess if something brakes, it will be upgraded on the Land Rover...

How are these engines? How are they on power?

The 4.6, in the '03 and '04 Disco's is a bit better than the 4.0, in earlier models, but none of them is a Corvette.

Discos, much more so than some other SUVs, are 4WD vehicles that are comfortable on the road; they're not really built for that, they're built for trailing.

I do intend to trail it... I been wanting to start hunting for small game, and posibly take photograghy out to nature a bit. Parents have a cabin in North GA. So it would be used once and a while, more then most SUV's on the road... I am not into that big chrome rap seen... I love me my country music and old school rock.
