My wife and I are looking to buy an RV Travel Trailer and I'd like to find out if others are towing similar trailers so I know if this is a good idea. We are looking at a 22-24ft travel trailer and dry weights are in the range of 4,500 to 5,000 lbs. The LR3 spec is (I think) 7,200 or 7,700 for towing. Another area I worry about is the wheel base of the LR vs the trailer. Any and all comments will be appreciated

I towed an LR3 with an LR3 about 100 miles. It had plenty of power and seemed to get good MPG considering the load. I had electric brakes on the trailer.
