I was changing jobs and didn’t need a 3/4 Ton 4 Door Diesel to drive to my office, so I started looking at SUVs and cars. Been a carpenter/builder/maintenance man for 25 years. One day I was helping my lawyer who’s a friend set up his daughters wedding when I looked in his garage and saw a green SUV and asked him what that was and what he was doing with it(never seen him drive it). He said the brakes didn’t work and he wished someone would haul it off, so I threw food fuel and a battery in it and fired it up. Found out it needed a master cylinder which I replaced and drive it home, where I work on it just about every waking second I’m not at work, I am enthralled with this machine. About a
month into ownership I was helping a friend move and kept driving by a Black 1998 Discovery on the road by a house.
So I stopped looked over it and noticed it had an about to be towed tag on it so I knocked on the door and the guy said “I wish someone would haul it off” so I threw a battery and good fuel in it and drive it home. So now I have 2 when 2 months and a week ago I had none. I have done so much but have so much more to do.

Great finds. Keep us posted on things. What are your plans for the trucks? First one looks like the Olive Green metallic?? Probably the best D1 color made. When new, it was beautiful. And only available in the 98 LSE.
