I’m now on my second Land Rover. My first was a 2016 Discovery Sport that treated me to five wonderful, trouble-free years. Sadly, Hurricane Beryl had other plans—a rogue tree branch landed on the roof, and the insurance company deemed it a total loss.
While waiting for the adjuster, I was stuck driving a rental Kia Sorento. It might’ve been fine, but I couldn’t believe how often I had to fish out the key fob just to unlock the doors. After years of enjoying keyless entry with the Discovery Sport, it felt… prehistoric! 😅
That experience sealed the deal for me. Once the rental was out of the picture, I knew I had to get back into a Land Rover. I ended up with a 2018 Discovery HSE in stunning Loire Blue Metallic, and I'm loving every bit of it!
