HELP,

i live on st. vincent.... google volcano.

i have 2 X 110defenders. (one is a TDi the other a Tfi).

its a **** show here but i am driving in heavy/light ash.... how can i mitigate damage.....max daily drive: 2 hours per day)

water sporadic and hard to find.

Change out your air cleaner ever 20 minutes? At the very least if you must drive and don't have a supply of fresh air cleaners use compressed air and a vacuum to clean and reuse them. I remember from the ST Helens eruption in the NW USA, 1980, that even 1/2 inch of the ash would kill a car fast.
