I am in search of y'alls wisdom... I am somewhat new to the extreme off roading world, less than 1 year. Currently I have a 2010 jeep rubicon, which has been great to me, but I have decided I want an additional rig. I have a huge interest in the Land Rover and am looking at a 2002. It seams to be priced right at $5000. It has about 75k miles and is in great shape. At least to the eye anyway.

Where I live, the island of Guam, non jeep off road rigs are hard to come by and this is literally the only Land Rover for sale on island. I would hate to jump the gun and buy this thing knowing there probably won't be another for sale for a long time.

Since I don't know much about these things, my question is what is the good, the bad, and the ugly? Any insight would be much appreciated.

 

Welcome. I would go over to the section of the forum that covers the one you're interested in. Lots of guys don't even check this section. Better chance of getting information over there.
