Thanks Juke179r but I think Atlanta on Wheels has closed its doors. I called and left a message and emailed as well with no response. I looked online as well and a Avis has the address now. Not sure what happened.

I did find a 04 se7 with 130k miles. it has new cooling hoses, thermostat, water pump, Battery and all engine gaskets and seals -- so no oil leaks. The inside is clean and has no extras on the outside. They are asking 13K! Would 9K be a reasonable offer?

There's an 03 SE7 with 82K miles in VA Beach listed for $5600 and some pretty good looking others from 5-8K also (some with upgrades). So I would say 9K is a reasonable offer, but if its a dealer, they're probably not going to take it.

Well I think I found one!
2004 SE7
76K miles
$7,000
I'll post some pictures if it goes through.

Atlanta on Wheels has to be closed. I even looked online maps and saw a Avis rental at the address. Still no call backs or email responses.

Well I'm back and found my Disco!!!

I knew exactly what I was looking for... 2004 SE7, silver or black on black, but most importantly, a solid motor and lower miles. I didn't want to pay over $7500 and any off road extras would be a huge plus but definitely not necessary.

I looked in a 200 mile radius from where I live in western North Carolina but no luck. I tried to get in touch with the guys from Atlanta on Wheels but never heard from them. After looking for about 5 months and seriously looking for the past 3 I decided to do what I was so passionately told not to do... ebay. I just thought I would keep an eye on it...

Then there she was, 2004 SE7, silver on black, 7600 miles, safari rack, Land Rover & Heli lights, brush guard, $7k

I called and left a message and a few hours later the seller called. Long story shorter the owner was a former employee of Land Rover for 30 years. He ran two dealerships and had owned over ten Rovers between his kids, wife, and himself. We had a great phone call and I booked a ticket up to get it. When I got there he picked me up at the airport... I know what you are thinking, so I call my Pop up to see if he was down for a road trip. Great father son time and some extra muscle incase this guy was a nut... we drove the hour back to his house from the airport with no flexing necessory.

Okay so I get to the rover, she looks good, not much rust, a little oil around the valve covers but not much and the back is LOADED with spare parts! I'm talking almost another truck. He had another '04 that he used for off roading with which he stripped and gave me all the parts. Switches, axles, bumpers, headlights, new radiator, the works! We settle on $6850, and finish all the paperwork, it's mine! Just as we were about to drive away it starts blowing coolant out of the reserve tank. Quick fix, lets change the thermostat.. nope! They guy feels so bad cause he is a great guy, I know because my Pop and I have been with him for 7 hours now, that he offers to swap out the water pump, change out the plugs, and drive it 10.5 hrs down to me in North Carolina! Um.. okay!

A week later here she is... Running great, for now, and I am loving it!

I will be reading and asking you all questions as things start to need to be replaced, I already have started a list. I'll post the progress of the change into a off road, family camping, get out and have fun, Best 4x4xfar, Disco!!

Thanks Dgi07, D11dad, JUKE179r for your help.
