Default Advice Needed on Using Heat Shrink Braided Sleeving for Engine Bay Protection

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some advice on using protective sleeving in the engine bay. I’ve seen a few setups where people use heat shrink braided sleeving over wiring looms and fluid lines, and it looks clean while offering solid abrasion resistance.

Has anyone here used this stuff before? How does it hold up to engine heat and vibration long-term? I want something durable that won’t fray or loosen over time. Planning to use it around fuel lines and sensor wiring.

Any tips on installation or sizing would be appreciated.

Got a link to what you are looking at?

I have used header wrap before under the hood with a fair amount of success and a similar material sleeves on plug wires to protect them
