Default APT Fuel Tank Guard Installation Problems

I followed all his instructions on how to remove the tank guard ..

Went to remove the last front 2 bolts ----------> the fuel tank moved and started to fall out. Got scared .. panicked and out the bolts back in. I never done this job before ..

If I take the last 2 front bolts out ... is the fuel tank gonna fall out ? I'm scared the entire fuel tank is gonna fall out and bust up with thousands in repairs and a fuel spill.... Hope im over reacting ..

Anyone do this job before ?

Jack stand, log, stack of books, wheel, old computer monitor, some straps, have your significant other hold it...

HOPEFULLY YOU DIDNT FILL IT WHEN YOU RAN OUT OF GAS.

Yep, I made the boneheaded mistake of unbolting the factory cradle with a full tank of gas when putting in my Terrafirma guard.... haha not a fun experience.

No doubt a great idea because you know it's only a matter of time before DOH's next post will be......

…..." Hey guys, do you know how to put out a fire? "
