Hi all. A new member here and am hoping to be posting at the right place. If not, pls let me know where to post. Just thought to ask this question on this forum in case others also experienced this. My defender is going to be delivered this friday. The dealer is charging some 850 or so on dealer options. It was presented to me at the time of order six months ago and I opposed it. When they sent me build docs, this figure was not there. Now today the quote I received has this figure reinserted. I am paying 100k for a car and definitely can afford to pay 850 more. But the way they are putting it back in, it is really very insulting. So what are my options to fight it. I paid $2500 advance at the time of booking. Landrover is just for the name sake a luxury brand but the dealers are really cheap. Not sure what others have experienced but I never saw this treatment earlier with mercedes bmw or lexus. It is just giving a very cheated type of feeling. 😥
