Dunlop Denovo tires were developed as the forerunner of today's run flat tires. Denovo's were fitted as standard to my Rover 3.5 P6 in the 70's, their replacement was an extortionate price so I changed the wheels and tires to a standard type.

Denovos were a spectacular failure due to aqua-planing on wet roads so they were discontinued I believe. Between their huge price and their technical shortcomings they had a relatively short commercial lifespan.
