The DYC Sprayer is around $156 you can find the graco 2900 at Lowe's or HD for around $100. I've been dipping enough that I wanted to pick up a better one.

IDK.... I mean, it's your rig and all, but "pearls" just don't strike me as rugged offroading colors....or something. Maybe you are planning on using your rig as a city driven head turner eh?

A 110 turns heads no matter what color it is She does get driven to and from work and around town but she is still ready to get dirty off road. As you can see in the first post she gets out to play.

I totally understand but these are not like a standard paint job the pearls are essentially a way to do a custom color pigment.

Here are some examples of previous dips I've done with pearls.

As you can see the pearls are not like your typical automotive pearl when put in plasti-dip. It's just a easy way to get a color you want really.

3 gallons of black un-thinned will give 6 gallons $165.45
1 gallon of clear un-thinned will give 2 gallons $55.15
2 gallons of glossifier $130.54
4 gallons of napatha thinner (menards) $50.00
Pearls will be $80.00

$332.14 total give or take a few dollars

Tape, old newspaper and trash bags I already have laying about but I can cost that out if you need.

I already have the DYC spray system, that was a christmas present to replace my medicore graco spray system
What do you spray with, is it conventional or airless. Fortunately I have both but the Graco airless I use is far faster and easier. How does this stuff work? does it run a lot like cellulose or two pack?

Looks like the ole Pajero is gonna have a makeover top to toe in satin black

I believe you would call it a airless system. Here is a link to my new gun.

https://www.dipyourcar.com/dyc-dipsprayer.html

I've never had it run on me, it's easy to work with and very forgiving. If you really screw up wait an hour and peel that panel. Then re-spray.

There are a ton of how to vids, demonstrations and colors tried out here.

I meant to put that as one of the choices for the 110 as it's a personnel favorite. I almost stopped the MGB dip job when I saw it in the matte black base coat...
