I have recently been offered some opportunities to invest in fracking operations both in the USA and Europe - what do you guys think about fracking and the potential investment opportunities? Would you invest in shares in this type of gas extraction operation? Your opinions would be invaluable as the major operations are presently in the USA.

 

personally, I do not like fracking for gas. just west of me, it is done all around the area. It is ugly, loud, and now those areas are having earthquakes....no proof that there is a relationship, but they never used to have them.
That being said, I would definitely invest. Even it it is in my "backyard". It is an opportunity for an investment that will likely bring a great return and better yet long term return. Someone will invest....Might as well be you.

 

Not sure why you would ask that on here. We all bought Land Rovers. That should tell you something about our investment strategies. .
