So, a lot has happened in the last 2 months. I moved state, bagged myself a job with Land Rover and am now being allowed to take home a lot of cars to understand how they work, get familiar with them etc.

I currently have a 1996 Discovery 1 Camel Trophy rover parked in my driveway and feel priviliged as hell to be able to borrow this thing for the whole weekend. Have already put about 30 miles on her and enjoyed every second!

I think this one was used in the Kalimantan competition of 96. Will post up a few pics tomorrow.

All I can say is, I wish I owned this thing. She's a bit run down now (being old and all) but man... what a privilege to borrow this vehicle.

 

Lucky to be able to drive all the different models, especially a piece of history!!
