I am going to pick up my girlfriend in NC and drive to CO and I am looking to overland from NC to CO of course but off road as much as possible. Does anyone know a route or a place on the internet to find a route that I can take from NC to CO via off road trails. I am all about some camping so I don't care about stops, the most important is to stay on dirt roads. The best I can find is highway 50 but that is all roads. I have a built expedition vehicle (disco II) and have done some pretty good rock crawling in my day so I don't mind a challenge, not that rock crawling is what I am after either.

Any help is appreciated it would make our summer.
