Default Holy crap!

I’ve never seen it snow this hard, visibility is 30 feet at best and right now it’s 10 feet. Temp is -1 with a 30mph wind speed.

When I was stationed at Ft Drum we had a "White Out", road completely disappeared. You could only see an occasional telephone pole. Be careful, things can go bad real quickly out there!!

I’m keeping it “cool”. I’m parked between two heated pump houses that I keep Bermuda warm and there is a super large plant that you can’t see right in front of me 1500 feet away.

Very nice, snow has laid here in the UK, no doubt the pansies will snow us off work tomorrow and we'll lose Saturday as well

We get a half inch and the country grinds to a halt, if we get an inch of snow people start panic buying like it's the start of the zombie apocalypse

Lol...... speaking of pansies......^ I would rather see mother nature pissed off, she scours the planet of tards. Natural selection and I had a front row seat. A guy just off shift pulled out of our driveway and went straight across four lanes of highway and lawn darted his car in a snow bank. I left him there. I couldn't do anything anyway, I was driving the company truck and that makes the company liable if anything bad happens so my decision took oh about a nanosecond and I enjoyed that fact. Two hours later a good samaritan pulled him out with his 4x4. There are many semi trucks that use that highway and with the visibility so low that made my butt cheeks pucker. If I'm gonna die it'll be with a smile on my face and my boots on, you know, worth it.

Since this post there have been two more storms. This past weekend had 60mph gusts with 40mph sustained, like driving in thick forest fire smoke inside a wind tunnel. That was a total whiteout and those only come around every 10 years or so. Wish I'd taken a few pics...... you couldn't see anything further than 10 feet. It took me an hour to get home from work, usually it's a 20 minute ride. Big thing when the wind is that strong are fallen trees and large drifts across the road. I didn't pass one vehicle on my way home from work.
