They're both terrible. Watch the Top Gear episode where they compare a Discovery to a Prius. They found out that the Prius, due to the way it's manufactured will put out more CO2 over its lifetime than the Disco. And it's slow as hell. And it's one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen. And you can't go through more than 2" of water.
