Lr dc100
The design itself is more good than bad IMO. Kill the bubble/curve of the front and I'm all in. Needs a rake/flat front with a more prominent grill. The Ford Bronco concept from a few years back is a reference point for what the front end should look like. I can see the pickup, softop, and service lines looking quite close to this, but a longer wheel base wagon not so much.
Of course the sidewall needs to be thicker and the wheel should max out around 16 inches. I think LR should be bold here and buck the huge function-less wheel trend that's been a hallmark of modern design.
It's exciting to get anything new concept-wise from LR that is not in the Range line. This would get more buzz sporting some custome kit... ladder, roof rack, functional brush guards.
The most important thing we can do is sound off and offer feedback. Especially if we want this in the states.

Gross! Are you kidding me? That thing is an abhoration from the pits of hell. Nothing at all like the defender series. LR should take a cue from Toyota on the FJ Cruiser. Now that is a faithful throwback.
For those of you keeping score, the FJ Cruiser was discontinued for a period of 2009 due to low sales. They brought it back, but sales obviously haven't recovered. 2-Door SUV's not called JEEP struggle in the US....Bronco, Blazer, Ram Charger to name a few...FJ Cruiser Sales Figures :
2006 56,225
2007 55,170
2008 28,688
2009 11,941
2010 14,959
