Great story and inspiration for the true driver in all of us. I've always enjoyed that site, true car guy site. It's funny, l feel the same way about my old defender...just want to drive it...even if it means into the ground. The thought of restoring it or making it pretty means absolutely nothing to me...driving it to Alaska is the main objective for owning it.
