Other than Land Rovers what kind of Vehicles have you owned
I'm a car fanatic and I'm sure I"m not the only one on this forum. So other than Land Rovers what other cars/trucks appeal to you guys. At about 14 I bought my first truck a 99 Silverado on 22s. I changed out the hood for a cowl induction model and had a set of SS style ghost strips painted on, changed out the grill and lights, exhaust, and threw in a system. I sold that truck and doubled my money since then I have constantly bought modified and sold vehicles in the 5 years since then I have owned an 02 dodge ram that was two toned with flames droped 6"s over 20s along with just about every performance mod, a 79 Chevy 4x4 C10, 87 K5 Blazer lifted 4"s on 35" tires, an 88 K5 lifted 12"s on 42"s, a 94 wrangler, a 88 Suburban lifted 16"s on 44x18.50"s with a re-enforced frame and 4.56 gears, a 92 Lexus SC300 painted candy red with gold flake, a 91 300ZX TT, and a 99 Firebird LS1 with LS6 heads stage 2 ECU racing ignition plugs and wires magnaflow exhaust rebuilt tranny with shift kit cold air intake and fiberglass WS6 style hood, I currently still have the Suburban, along with a 96 and 04 Discovery.

I wanna see some pictures of that Suburban, that thing must be a monster! But anyway I've never owned anything other than my 96. I'll hopefully have it for a long time too. I'll probably end up getting a Jetta TDI when I get out of college, and just make the Disco a (probably illegal) trail rig for a while.

BoeingBoeing... good luck with getting the wife to agree to an older Rover. Mine's been nagging me about the p38! She wanted to get rid of it for the newest addition but I wouldn't budge and she finally caved as the newest was hers anyway. I really want to get an old two door model (like the one I used to have) but i'm pretty sure that would cause some pretty choppy waters.
DiscoDefender... just a few there lol. I'm very jealous of the Defender. Only think that beats a Defender is the new Defender imo.
I've owned two 7 series BMWs (back in the 90's), a lemon Benz (honestly will never buy one again), a Suzuki (it was a long time ago and it did turn out to be the most reliable car i've ever owned), a classic RR, a P38 (still have), and currently a MKIII. My wife is a fan of Maserati's and we just recently got rid of her GranSport Coupe for the new GranTurismo.

my first car was a hand down from my mom, being a 1993 mercury sable. sold that for a 1986 toyota pickup. it had a compression leak and the repairs were more than the truck was worth. then a 1972 vw t2 (it had a gas leak, and the starter shorted catching the undercarriage on fire, almost blowing up killing me and my mom) and now my 1998 disco. i would love another vw bus, and a lotus exige s 240. but thats a ways away.

I have owned lots of foot rubber, a couple of Saabs, three VWs, one Ford, one Honda, one Dodge, two BMWs. I would give them all back for the Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible if my wife would let me, something about needing to fit a car seat easily, I was not paying attention after she told me to get rid of it. Now I have something heavy, safe and slow otherwise known as a LR Disco and she has the sporty X5!
