I'm still seeing people join this Forum only to post extremely high priced LR parts or LR's in the Private For Sale Section with that being their first post. Is there anyway we can make the Private For Sale Section have a minimum post requirement of like 50 or something?

 

That is a universal problem Best4X4, it happens, I believe, on many forums everywhere. I believe the problem being is that it states Private for Sale/Trade Classifieds, which then invites all and sundry onto the forum. You are probably right, a minimum post count would preclude some 'dumping' sales ads as a first and only post.

 

Worst part is, someone posts something (new or not) you want it......
You never hear from them again................

I read the fine print. It always says something like 'it sold already, I didn't want to sell it, just kidding - it's not for sale, move on to the next one, etc.' That's why I wear a magnified loupe - so I can spot them a mile away.. Keeps me from getting my hopes up about anything - brown tinted glasses girl.
