Default Run over by truck

I slipped under the truck this morning to WD40 the transmission linkage. Cotter pin not in gear attachment and stud from the linkage almost ready to pop out.

The truck is on a 3 to 1 slope driveway. I knock the stud out by accident with the WD40 can. Right front tires roll over my left arm...I spin to miss the yoke and the truck rolls over my right leg. Very interesting feeling..........

I have a court appointment in the morning that is important so decide not to go to Dr till after the hearing or if I develop severe symptoms.

Moral of the story...always chock your truck when under it.......

What happen to you today?? Got run over by a Land Rover......also always be brave enough [What an idiot I am!] to tell these stories so people know how easy it can be to die with rig that size.

Finally got into the Dr. after my meeting yesterday....4 broken ribs...3 fractured ribs...one collapsed right lung and a Compression fracture on the right leg. Should be out of the hospital by tomorrow...Thanks for the kind words, I'll be out in no time trying not to, endangering my life again..

I wish you a speedy recovery Roverfanatic.

Learn from this and never work under any vehicle unless it's totally safe to do so, many have been horribly killed by work underneath unsafe vehicles.

Just an update, five weeks later and I started running 2 a days yesterday. Ribs still sore and a little numbness in my left 2 fingers but operating at about the same efficiency as my Rover 91%.

Thanks for the concern

Tex
