i second the night mode. Maybe not all the time but a button to have it. I do miss the rover in the top banner, but change is always good.

Thank you you to all.

A couple of days later and it's still not growing on me. Sorry.. it's just plain, stark and uninviting. I used to like to come to the forum and the people are still the same so it must be the formatting?...

Can we please get some rendition of what we used to have? I, too, miss the Rover banner at the top and the choice of colors are blinding for a fat assed, deranged, old woman like me.

yeah, because brown is the color of dirt and folks equate it with being out on the trail. Can you imagine this cake in blue and white? That would call for a BOAT!

The only thing that would make this chocolate cake look better would be a Rover on top

Gotta admit I like the old color scheme much better.... this feels very sterile

But whatever, we'll get used to it

lol.. sorry about that. It was a rough week at work and was hard for me to not think about sweets. Needed to get the serotonin levels up?

I'm sort of curious as to why the administrators decided to go with such a stark contrast to what we used to have? The first time I visited the website (after the format change) I thought I had typed in the wrong address. It's that drastic and I know that I'm fairly vocal but I really dislike it. What was the reasoning? Is it cheaper? More space for other stuff such as advertising, etc? Or is someone just trying to mess with us.

Hi all, hope you had a wonderful weekend. Just wanted to jump in and reassure you guys that we, the IB team, do the best we can to accommodate user preferences. Unfortunately, it's hard to please everyone and even though many members have voiced that they do not like the brown theme and wanted a more relaxed and blue theme, I understand that some members may not. We hope that you all can continue to enjoy the forum for what it is.

If you guys are experiencing any technical problems, feel free to let me know and I'd be happy to assist.
