Default So you want to help the forum, eh? Start deleting your old private messages.

Early spring cleaning...
I deleted all of my LR forum private messages in my Inbox and Sent folders = 132 messages going back to 2016. If every forum member does this it can collectively help free up valuable gigabytes from off of the forum’s server of unnecessary old private messages that we didn’t need or read anymore.

Switch to “View Full Site” if on a tablet or smart phone.
Click on your profile name in the top right corner and select “PRIVATE MESSAGES”.
Now you can select to read or delete your messages. You can even save them to a file by scrolling to the bottom of the page and select “Download all Private Messages as:” and select the file to be saved as.
But... If you want to delete everything in your “Inbox”, select “(Empty Folder)”.

After the “Inbox” messages are all deleted, click the drop down box under “Jump to Folder” and select “Sent Items”. Click “Go”.
If you want to delete everything in your “Sent Items”, just as above select “(Empty Folder)”.

Hope this helps the forum.

Give it time, I'm pretty sure the increasing complexity and decreasing build quality of today's Land Rovers will quickly surpass anything the D2 ever threw at this forum. I love reading the issues with the new $75k and up trucks. Oh no, my rear seat cappuccino maker isn't frothing the milk quickly enough and by the time I hand my keys to the valet at the gym my drink is already cold. The only caveat to all this is that most of the new vehicle owners aren't here to engage in lengthy technical discussions on how to correct an issue, they simply want to grouse about how they feel mistreated by the dealer (no kidding...?) and find out who everyone is writing checks to when they have their trucks fixed.

I doubt anything will ever come close to the disco 2 section. New vehicles different style mentality

The D2 section is busy but honestly 50% of the dang post are repeats because people don't wanna search for anything. Lift size, tire size, what shocks, what bumper, truck won't start CPS stuff, then what brand HG kit should I get, and yada yada yada. Remove the duplicates and it would be much much less.

that’s true but you deny that the disco work is never done. There is always something to do always

D2 wise I haven't really done anything to be honest. Only D2 related repair for me in 2020 was a loose Option B ground wire on my 04 D2. The 99 & 02 I did nothing but oil changes, and fuel fill up's.

Now D1 wise the 97 XD kept me busy with a HG job, brake lines rotting out, and a few other little adventures along with the 95 D1 which I had a mystery fuel issue which was just old fuel pump/fuel injector relays.

Only thing I would like to do is a transmission service on the 99 D2 with a fluid/filter change. Besides that my 3 D2's have been happy campers.
