Default tekpro 3000 review

Got my new trek pro today and all I can say is wow it does a lot

Right off the bat I was able to reset adaptive values on my d1 AND program my second remote on my d1

Both are things that the dealer said they could not do

On the lr3 I pooled around and it does everything, reads all modules, all codes , clears , resets values, recalibrates , sets service modes, sets production mode on suspension, list goes on and on

Also does generic obd2 so guessing it works on all makes

Specifys BMW, rover, mini

Comes pre activated for everything

Very cool.

Does it have a way to update the software on the LR3, like if you needed to re-flash the ride level computer from the Hitachi software to the AMK software?

Also, do you have to swap cables for different modules on the LR3? that's one thing I didn't like about the hawkeye. I'm ok with swapping the cable once per vehicle, but you needed different dongles for high speed and medium speed can busses on the hawkeye.

Mine is latest version 4.0

Everything on scanner says Atlantic British NY.

Registration card mails to San Jose California

It does come with USB to hook to a PC but unsure about updates

Everything works from the 1 obd2 cable, think there is a second cable you buy for diesel vehicles?

I am unsure about changing programming( I doubt it) but you can reset base parameters on lr3 , there was so much to do some abreveations I did not know

But it works evey module

Had no engine or trans codes

I had a high volt code on the transfer case module

Codes in climate control I am causing

And codes for the airbags I added

Definitely seems to do it all on d1, does a lot on lr3 just not sure of actual programming but for me it does what I need so I am not always exiting on my rover tech buddy to have time

Generic obd2 tried it on a dodge magnum, it accessed the engine and trans ecm, live data, o2 sensor tests, read clear codes you know basic stuff, there is also a code encyclopedia built in to look em up

On rover it tells # and what code is without lookup
