Using my Disco1 as a can opener...
Yesterday the wife came home with a story to tell. She had stopped at a convenience store to buy some sunflower seeds to snack on ( one of my pet peeves) and a car was backing out of a parking spot. She went to step on the brake and missed, catching the back corner of the car, ans sliced down the whole side like a can opener, cutting right through the car, and doing a bit of damage to my Disco1.
They traded insurance info and both took off home. The wife said I would probably get a call from the other drivers boyfriend. All I could do was shake my head and sigh. In the back of my head I wondered how she had the nerve to even come home after a stunt like that (she works late at night ) I then thought about what could have cut into a car without doing much damage to my truck..
Then I realized her lame attempt at trying to do the April Fools joke thing on me in the past, So I told her that it shouldn't be difficult for her to find a second job to pay for the damage and get the truck fixed, hopefully it would be close enough for her to walk... Followed by a Nice try though...
She then grumbled that she could never catch me off guard on April 1st (as I put the divorce papers away) Like they say, you can't fool an old fool!!

With her it would be 100% believable! Ever try explaining to your insurance company how your wife hit one of your cars with another, and the other one was parked with nobody in it?? Or the fact she hit the doorway of the garage backing out and ripped a wall out of the side of the garage...I get nervous every time she picks up a set of keys...

. Admittedly at one time my wife was ...........eeerrr...............accident prone
but she has improved over the years but what damage can you do in a Smart Car
and that's where I prefer her to stay, in the Smart Car
. I'm not sure whether she has really improved or whether she is frightened of being seriously yelled at if she has an accident
