Anyway I am from SoCal...Irvine, Ca....not much off roading here, unless you count the curb jumping Asian Population.
Although just out sida town....now thats where its at!!

 

yup, that is the midland i am from, friday night lights was filmed here in midland, odessa and houston



, rita hit at port arthur, about 650 miles from me. i was in galveston in june and i loved it. it sickens me to see it under that kind of weather and on fire etc.

 

Santa Maria, California. about 20-30 minutes away from the famous Grover Beach (pismo) sand dunes., and theres some good OHV trails in the hills to the east.

hopefuly sometime in the spring (or at least by summer) ill be moving to Phoenix, Arizona. theres suposed to be some good wheeling out there.

05 Land Rover yes I have been to Midland.
The bench rest club has the Buffalo shoot ever year there.
I also pass that way going to Big Bend & Guadalupe Mts
great places to go backpacking when it's cooler.
