Thank you for enquiring, my sister is doing exceptionally well in 4 weeks considering. She started in La Rochelle ITU, moved to HDU and then Saintes neuro dept and is now in the physio and rehab dept (EHPAD) which is much closer. I guess it will take a couple or so weeks of physio and rehab before she returns home and then ongoing at home. He general demeanor is positive although her speech is slightly slower her brain works OK but at present has no movement in her right arm although there is feeling in the skin/surface. It's going to be a long uphill process to possibly only 60-70% recovery. Some of her old inbuilt aggression is returning though huh, ex teachers

About you, carpal tunnel is, as you probably already know, grizzle or bone trapping the nerves usually in the wrists but can come and go from time to time. Hopefully it won't impede your typing . I had a similar problem recently where the nerves in my elbows became trapped and the sides of my hands and outer two fingers went numb (didn't impede rude gestures to others though), mentioned it to the doc on a routine visit but didn't follow up with the electronic nerve tests (supposed to be painfull). Seems a lot better now.

Keep posting

Hey Offroad,

Glad to hear that your sister is doing better and I completely understand what you mean by teachers..

'Wait'? That word isn't in my vocabulary Although I did take one day off in between moving stuff to let my arms rest. Moved the sofa to the house last night and finally got it into it's resting place tonight. AFTER, I may add, taking a tight turn where I had to take the baseboards off, and then I got it lodged in the hallway between the bathroom and study. I'm sitting on it now and I haven't smiled this big in a LONG time Have to hang the artwork back up on the walls and put a bathroom door back on, uh, a door frame needs to go back in and what else.. talk about freak show David Bowie's got nothing on me

Lots to do so I'm signing off for the night - internet connection keeps on conking out on me as well. Heard this song 2 times today on the radio. Hate the video - it's way too violent but I love the lyrics and the haunting melody. I'd advise to listen to the music and ignore the video although it makes a good point.

Good picks RT - like the Concrete Blonde and as always, Bowie is a favorite

Good choice KD, I agree, crap overly violent vid.

It's that day again today, Armistice Day, the cenotaph memorial in London has become OTT and too politically jazzed up but the day remains very special wherever. Sad day.
