Good one landlover_1, but sadly the old French values are disappearing faster than ice in a heatwave and replaced by materialism. When you see people shopping they spend fortunes on cars, clothes, perfumes and of course, food.

Most French houses outside of the affluent cities are pitiful heaps of stones but there is always a newish car standing in their drive. For many it's a VW, BMW or Mercedes and for the less well healed a French car. Quite a few RR's, RRS's and LR3's and 4's here too. Loads of D1's around in France and old Rover cars.
