thats what i say too, i do a little off roading in the land rover though. i have talked to some dealerships about some wheels events, but no one really replied.

according to my "ownership benefits and features" book sent to me by land rover, a wheels event is describe in the following manner:

"Before you can fully appreciate the amazing scope of where Land Rover can lead you, you have to know the breadth of hat your vehicle is capable of. Enter the Wheels event, sponsored by your Land Rover Retailer. Events vary by location, time of year and Owner interest, but one thing they have in common is taking Owners off-road in their own vehicles. Guided by Land Rover employees, you'll get your first taste of the adventure that's at the heart of the Land Rover way of life.

Most people report that the best part of a Wheels event is the camaraderie. Participating with other Land Rover Owners, who often share your interests, makes Wheels events a great place to meet and make new friends."

yeah, too bad our closest Land Rover Dealership is 280 miles away. maybe i can talk to Doss Rogers (owner of our ford dealership) and get him to have a similar event with 4x4 fords, lincolns, land rovers, mazdas, etc.

 

i think you'd be better off finding a local 4x4 club, or something.

 

yes, that is true, i know there is a jeep club here, one of the CJ7s in it has a decal on the windshield that is upside down and says, "if you can read this, turn me over"

 

i saw that one on a pretty sweet Cherokee Sport today. good stuff.
