First car I bought was for my wife. It was a 1998 Nissan Altima.

First car I bought with my own money for me was a 1994 Jeep Wrangler. Still have it. Was bone stock when I bought it. I drove it to Belize with me two years ago. Trailer is a 1948 Henry Spen (civilian version of m416). Here's a pic on the way:

And an action shot:

I never owned a car but my first vehicle was a 76 F250 crewcab camper special. I was 14 when I bought it, it had a 460 4 barrel, 4x4, AC, power windows, big ugly aluminum cap, and 3 gas tanks. It was funny taking my drivers test in that thing, the instructor passed me even though it wouldnt fit in the paralell parking spot and I couldnt make a 3 point turn on the street. I'll have to see if I can find pictures of it.

I know how that goes. I took my drivers test in a 79 Dodge Ram 3500 15 passenger van. Instructor told me I didn't have to parallel park or turn around in the street. He was just amazed I could stay in my lane with that beast!

Not to give away my age but my first car is my current rover................... I'm not even out of High school yet BTW. I am probably one of the smartest teenagers if not the smartest teenager in the world when it comes to a DI 1995 with a 3.9 L. Considering all the work I have done, by myself, most adults won't ever tackle.

I wonder how many of us are still in high school on here?....My first car was a 1986 Cadillac Cimarron, but the first car I bought with my own cash is my 1996 Discovery.

First automobile I bought was a brown and tan 1979, 5 speed 4x4 Suburban in 1998 off my chem teacher in high school. He would drive it up to a cabin in Main with his dogs over the summer and work as a hunting guide. He upgraded and I bought it off him for pennies, literally.

Gas was still under a buck then and we would fill up the 40 gallon tank for.....$40 dollars and we would just drive till we ran out of gas, fill her up, turn around and drive back. We would try to get lost for the fun of it which is practically impossible to do now with smart phones and modern technology. It was a beast of a car and what I learned to drive stick on. Gave be a damn heart attack stopping up a hill the first month.

This is not mine but the same body style.

First car was a 1993 Chrysler lebaron convertible. Man owning a convertible I'm high school was awesome! First car I bought with my own money was a 2005 Avalanche. That Avalanche is the only vehicle I ever regret getting rid of. I now have a 2005 Range Rover and I am in love with it. I have never been so anxious for it to snow so I can check out how it handles!
