Default 1985 Santana LR 109 Super. Rear diff ratio

Hello.
I bought a 1985 Santana LR 109 Super. Great car, but the rear diff is not ok. I wonder if the whole rear axle could be changed to a British one. Does anybody know if that is possible or know the ratio?

Thanks. Mark

You can find out the gear ratio by jacking up the rear axle. Mark the driveshaft and one rear wheel with a piece of tape, in any location. Keep up with where you place the tape. Count the rotation of the wheel vs the driveshaft. Divide the driveshaft rotations by the wheel rotations, which equals the overall gear ratio.
